It started when our producers communicated with the team of Reverie to set the right expectations for their video projects.
After getting a brief of the project our creative wheels started to turn.
We needed details like who is the target audience, product features/benefits they want to highlight, any quick elevator pitch, etc. To do so, we sent a video production client questionnaire.
Later, through an online call, our producers got a more extra in-depth perception of the project.
After the discussion, an initial team was formed. Comprising art director, illustrator, producers, and animators.
One of the challenges we faced working with Reverie was that they needed this Animated Explainer Video in less than no time with quality output. In order to be aligned with Prabandhak’s strategy, we had to deliver them the project before its launch date – 24th of June.
Although there was very little time in our hands, we managed to beat the clock and finished all of it, 2 days before the deadline.
Created Sketches and Storyboard
Once we have approval from the Reverie regarding the script then our team jumped into “Next step”.
Our next step is to connect the narrative to visuals by creating a detailed storyboard. Where our creative animation team lead by @Vikas created some hand-drawn sketches to see how the final video will unfold.

Now those hand-drawn sketches are modified according to the brand’s look and feel. A colored storyboard is created keeping in mind the brand’s guidelines.

Got the VO done
Before animation, we needed the right voice to deliver our powerful message.
We shared some voiceover samples with our Reverie. But they exclusively wanted Indian voice because the product was for the Indian market.
They needed an Indian Voice over artist so we gave them an Indian voiceover artist!!
(We have an extensive list of voice over artist available from around the globe with native accents)
Our Animation Process
After exploring all the avenues, now comes the most awaited part- “Animation”
This is where all the above discussions and challenges start to take shape!
Here, our animation team came into play. We had 4 creative animation masters involved in the creation of this video-

And thanks to Reverie and our team involved.
Bingo! The Prabandhak explainer video is all set to enchant the audience 2 days before their product launch. We stayed in close contact with them (like all the time), who appreciated being kept in the loop every step of the way.
In the end, we delivered an explainer video that we were proud of.
But did we meet Reverie’s hope?

In a word: yes.
In two words: hell yes!
We worked our fingers to the bone and as a result, we got amazing feedback from the team of Reverie.
After this video Reverie will have to completely revamp their scheduling strategy to keep up with the demand generated by our video!!
